Here are all of the problems that's we have encountered over the whole project explaining what they were and how we overcome them or didn't manage to over come them creating further complications:
1. The first major problem that we came across was after we did the filming at the station and imported it onto the computer. As we were watching over the footage we realised that we didn't have enough or even appropriate shots to make the video look good whilst editing it. We then decided that we had to go back to the station to re film the scene with many more shots all at different angle. When we went back to the station we all agreed to ask permission from the ticket office to film this time as after we had finished filming last time a lady who worked at the station approached us all and explained that we should have asked for permission. However, when we went to ask for permission this time round, the manager told us to ring head offices number and ask. After ringing one person after another trying to gain permission to film at the station, we were turned down as we would need to sign papers to ensure that we don't sue the company if anything went wrong which would take up to about a month when we needed to film that day. We were also expected to pay a fee of about £100 which was money that w did not have so we therefore had to alter the story line and cut the station bit out completely as the footage that we had from the previous session wasn't anywhere near good enough to work with. This became quite frustrating for us as we had to quickly think on our feet as we had to get the filming down that day in order to get the music video complete on time.
2. Another problem that we often came across was trying to find a day that wasn't raining! This was so that the camera and other equipment wouldn't get wet and damaged in the rain. Also, the rain would make the scenery look wet and unattractive for the music video.
3. Another occurring problem was trying to get everyone together on the same day so that we could get all the filming complete. As there are four different character in the video and two crew members, this made it very difficult to plan when to film as people are doing different things on different days. In order to solve this problem, we found that we had to organise ourselves in a couple of weeks in advance to make sure everyone was free for one day and to ensure that they kept that day free
